As a child when faced with traumatic experiences, she quickly found comfort by going to a safe place within her mind where many times she had a sense of knowing that everything was going to be okay. Even as a teenager she found no value in pitying herself and did not allow those low vibrating experiences to dim her light. After graduating high school she was very intrigued with how the human mind worked. She graduated from college with a double major in Psychology and Criminology, two different perspectives of viewing the mind.

After many years looking for a deeper meaning to life and having a sense of knowing that there has to be something beyond all the pain and suffering, Carmen explored many other metaphysical modalities, like so many do when they start to ponder on the idea that there has to be something more to life. She was brought to the deep understanding of life by a powerful spiritual awakening through the dark night of the soul, which taught her to navigate life through the eyes of a Wounded Healer, triggered by meeting her Twin Flame.
