The term Spirit Guide generally makes reference to one or more entities who watch, teach, heal, and help you on your physical journey into spiritual awareness. They are a higher frequency/vibration than we are.

Communication is generally telepathic (mind to mind), clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance (seeing) noticed or observed during meditation, dream time, or just learning how to focus, look and listen to messages received. The more you practice, the easier it gets.

The number of spirit guides one has varies.  I have contracts with seven that I am aware of and that I work with. I’ve worked with one of them for more than 10 years now. I have one called Anaya and he is a Healing Master. He does all the healing for me.

Guides can also end a contract/relationship because they have completed what they came to do with you.  New guides can appear and then disappear depending on what your higher self agreed to do together this lifetime.

Spirit guides can go by many names. Sometimes they connect with more than one person at a time, using identities that are comfortable to those they communicate with.

A spirit guide is someone who lived on Earth, died and has chosen to come back from the other side to help and counsel those on earth.

The difference between an angel and a spirit guide is that angels are beings that have never lived on earth.

Spirit guides take on many valences (appearances) to interact with you. 

Human form.

Alien form.

Mythological creatures.

As colors.

Any type of being that you can imagine.

But they have something in common: They’re willing to help guide and teach those on Earth who have asked for help.
